David became a physical therapist in 2016 and immediately joined A Step Ahead Physical Therapy. As a lifelong runner, David enjoys focusing on orthopedics and gait analysis. Additionally, David has done extensive research in the nonsurgical treatment of ACL tears and conservative management of plantar fasciitis.

David graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Florida College and went on to get his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Georgia State University. He currently teaches Exercise Physiology as an Adjunct Professor for Florida College. In the fall of 2016, David completed postgraduate training in dry needling and is now a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist.

As a member of the cross country team in college, David participated in his division’s national championship. Now married to a pediatric physical therapist, David and his wife are involved with the Atlanta Track Club and Together We Run, a volunteer organization that helps kids with special needs train and participate in local road races. David and his wife are also active members at Powers Ferry Church of Christ. When they aren’t running or treating clients, David and his wife love caring for their Brittany puppy, Milly.
