Amy has been a physical therapist since 2006 and joined A Step Ahead Physical Therapy in 2014. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Amy was a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for six years. As a PTA, Amy worked in a variety of hospitals and rehabilitation facilities which led to her passion for general and geriatric outpatient care and her specialty in geriatrics and vestibular rehabilitation.

Amy received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. Mary’s College and went on to obtain an Associate of Science in Physical Therapy Assistant from Gwinnett Technical College and then a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of North Georgia. Amy is certified in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA Level 1) and the Y Balance Test (YBT).

As an active member of the community, Amy previously served as a medical contributor for Local Life Publishing which publishes community magazines for Roswell, Alpharetta, Milton, and Woodstock. She is a member of the Homeowner’s Association board and involved with her church, St. Thomas Aquinas. As a native of Roswell, Amy grew up ½ of a mile from A Step Ahead Physical Therapy and now resides in Crabapple with her husband and children.
